I started my media career at the South African Broadcasting Corporation in 1985, as an announcer-producer. I was subsequently promoted to political correspondent, senior journalist and news editor and was responsible for short- and long-term news planning and networking. I managed a multicultural team of about twenty journalists as South Africa was entering a new dispensation. In 1995, I returned to Europe, where I continued my media career as sub-editor for Belgium’s leading quality daily and as journalist for that country’s leading financial weekly.

In 2000, I decided to move on to corporate communications. After a short spell with a software company, I entered the egg industry, as Communications & Key Account Manager with an innovative manufacturer that was about to introduce an egg pasteurisation and cooking appliance at foodservice level.

Eggnology Communication Services has continued to grow. We now deliver USP-driven B2B and B2C corporate and marketing communications, reputation management, public affairs, public relations, press – media relations, translation and business development services to a wide range of companies in Europe, the United States and Africa. We have acted as spokesperson for several companies.

In addition, Eggnology assists shell egg technology start-ups and established EU and non-EU based companies in setting up and expanding their European operations by clearing regulatory hurdles and by drafting their business strategy.
